Thanks,Juan, I appreciate your compliment. Yes, they ARE a pain in the butt once in awhile. Here in Wichita, they drive around in the little white trucks with the lights. If some gang banger is standing around making a drug deal, they'll never get caught because the guy's always got his little blue light running and has no element of surprise. And, one night one of them almost ran into me as we were looking for a parking spot one night. He came around a corner out of nowhere, and I slammed on the brake to give him room to get to whatever he was in a hurry for. But, HE then stopped and asked me if I needed help. "No", I said, "It looked like you were responding to an emergency, so I was stopping." Evidently he didn't like my response, as he coldly informed me that "everything's all right".
Well, for all my whining, I guess it's better to have them around than to not. Thanks again for your comment, glad you liked it!
