Mmmmmm...I luv the leaks too, but it does sounds as if you bought a brand that can't hold a fulll adult bladder.
Here in the states I buy the Depends brand and buy the Super Aborsorbancy and also add a Depends boost pad (this pad fits into the crotch of the diaper and doesn't have a plastic liner in the back to the pee runs through it into the diaper, but it increases the "holding power" of the regular diaper)
I buy the disposable pull up type diaper or the overnight full brief, all in super absorbancy. The pads are useless if you want to let go more than a couple of spurts...
From what u are describing about the straps...it sounds as if perhaps that is what u bought...a pad type. Can u describe what u are using?
