I've met Paul in person-and he is truly a very nice down to earth guy. He enjoys his work (I'd say most of the time), but the fact is-he does have his own family/and self to support. Wet Set isn't a huge conglomerate-nor is Patches Place. We are all just people who are also interested in watersports-and trying to provide a service to those that are willing to enjoy it and sometimes, yes, gasp! pay for it too.
Please always remember-websites cost money, bandwidth is not free! Employees don't work for the joy of the 'sport' ;), we have families to support, rent/mortgage to pay as well.
Paul is and has always been approachable when there are problems with his site-he might not be able to answer the moment you'd like him to-but he does care what the fans of the site have to say.
It is nice to be appreciated now and then-so thank you, Frodo, for bringing up this opportunity to say Thanks for the things Paul does and the boards that he has managed to keep free.
