if a baby can come out of there, sure as hell a tampon and penis can fit snugly NEXT to each other without causing anyone any problems.
I do speak from experience, and I've also found that if you squat, a partner can get hold of the errant tampon with less difficulty, and retrieve it. Yu can also pee on his hand while he's doing this, as an additional variation.
A good anatomy book would help the initial (virgin) questioner learn a little more.
