Yes, Dodge, I saw the cut version at the time of its release. I agree with your comment about Bob Guccione (as US Penthouse has proved in recent years,) but I have to say that I don't think that he was solely responsible for the scene we're discussing here. As I implied in an earlier post, Tinto Brass also seems to be a big pee fan and I feel sure he endorsed the scene in question. The uncut version can still be found on the 'underground' smutty (I'm glad to say) videotape circuit.
I also made a point of watching the so-called 'director's cut' on Channel 4 in November. I found it extremely disappointing considering some of the things which have been portrayed on Channel 4. Although (I think) the version shown was longer than the UK video release, the dirtiest (and best) parts had been sevagely hacked out of it, to the extent that when it came to the scene under discussion, only two to three seconds of it were left. Anyone watching who had had no experience of the uncensored version would have had no clue as to what had actually been portrayed there.
I wouldn't want to make a cast-iron promise but, Dodge, if you care to contact me at the e-mail address shown, it might be possible for me to obtain the uncensored version and supply you with a copy. Your choice.
