One of my favorite King novels, if only for that
scene where she pees in a thermos, and "but
it overflowed, and she capped it and threw it out
the window, but now the whole car smelled of
piss." I thing that's verbatim.
Yes, certainly. Women caught short in a vehicle,
and it's raining outside. So she finally resorts
to urinating in the car in some fashion.
Amazing how seldom this theme shows up, but when
it does the tales seem to be true, short, factual
replay of the events as they happened. I even
had a close friend (she does not know how much
this turned me on) relate her drive during a
recent ice storm when she was on the road for
5 hours, getting more and more desperate.
Tough keeping a straight face!
