Hello, Julie, and welcome to the board!

I was moved by your message, because I think it hits the nail on the head for a lot of us. We get this interest at some point, usually early in life, and it stays kind of dormant, or "innocent", until we mature and begin to look at the world in light of our developing sexuality. Then, when the hormones kick in, WATCH OUT! Instant confusion abounds when we realize that the thing that pushes our buttons and sends us into orbit is not only unacknowledged by mainstream society, but actually shunned by society in general. Of course, with this type of atmosphere, no wonder we grow up feeling alone and frustrated. Sure, you can find an article in Penthouse now and then that includes an enticing tidbit dealing with urolagnia, but even then, there's no way to connect with whoever's involved and do anything as simple as shake their hand and say something like "Thank God I'm not alone...it's good to know that someone else understands."

Enter the internet. I tried searching for certain keywords, sort of as a joke, not really believing I'd find anything. You can imagine the wonder and revelation I felt, as I'm sure you did too, at finding the wealth of chats, forums, and other sites devoted to our hobby. It was like getting a message from space that there's intelligent life on another planet! And that's just the people who have the resources and inclination to A. Buy a computer B. Get on the internet, and C. Actively search out possible links and sites. I've no idea what the statistics are, but for everyone who posts here, or at similar sites, there must be tens or even hundreds who lurk but silently cry for joy on discovering they're not alone.

You, Julie, are definitely not alone, though in your day to day life it may feel like it. You may feel different not only in your interest in wetting, but possibly in other facets of your emotions or feelings as well. I've got a theory, and it goes something along the lines that people into wetting, or pants-pooping, tend to be more sensitive and introspective souls. Of course, we're not ALL like that, but I'm willing to bet that if an actual scientific study were to be performed, a significant percentage of us would turn out to be classified that way. Why, I'm not sure. Maybe since we know we have a skeleton in our closet, we're more receptive and understanding of others around us who also have their skeletons, whatever they may be.

Does that make it easier to find a soulmate or other kindred spirit worthy of investing the rest of our lives in? Not really, unfortunately. But, maybe it makes us more discerning. And maybe that's your case, Julie. There's nothing wrong with that, I hope you know. In fact, I want you to be more discerning and choosy if you can, because a woman like you is an extremely rare jewel in the ore cart of life, and you deserve someone special who would appreciate that jewel. Don't settle for some clod who's going to push you around and exploit you for awhile and then go on to someone else. Hold out for your wet-loving Adonis, because it'll be worth it. Hell, I didn't have sex until I was 24, and that was with the woman that I knew I was going to marry. Any regrets? Nada! We'll be fifteen years next month! She's not a practitioner like us, but she knows about and understands my fetish and accepts it as part of who I am. Bless her, she even points out people once in awhile and whispers in my ear "I'll bet she could do it, huh?" or something similar, like "Pssssshhhhhsssss.." She sometimes jokes to me that I must have been toilet trained at gunpoint (although, despite growing up Catholic, I don't remember any traumatic experiences).

I hope this helps you to sleep a little better, Julie. By the way, here's another way to look at it. Many of us agree that peeing in our pants is one of the most powerful stress-relieving activities on the planet. When you think of it, it's kind of cool to be privy to something that most of the rest of the world either doesn't realize or stubbornly refuses to acknowledge.

If you'd like, I'd be happy to email or chat. I have mIRC, and also aol Instant Messenger, as well as Alori's old chat site (angelfire.com/oh/dpepsi169/chat.html)

Take care, Julie, and God Bless!

Lionheart
