Try it all I say.
Personally dapiers seem a bit premeditated. I prefer 'accidents' and the showing is half the fun but this is to satisfy my visual senses, well fitted pants with a slowly spreading stain from a nicely outlines pussy are great; so is a sudden flood after a lovely long pee-dance.
Physical sensations are good with lots of padding so I suppose dapiers could be fun here. And there would always be the temptation to release a little more and a little more until your nice 'safe dapier suddenly gives up the struggle.
