With all of the sites, my server log files include the IP address of every page or file request. In the case of the AC sites, this doesn't help too much, because there's no means for knowing which password a given user has logged on with. However, I understand that Cybernet (the organisation that runs Adult Check and whose servers verify the logons) have their servers set up to test for logons from multiple locations using a single ID, and will flag these as fraudulent. Thus, when a password is given out, it is generally deleted after a very short time.
In the case of the paysite, I have rather more log data available, and can in theory correlate passwords with IP addresses. And CCBill (who operate the logon mechanism for the paysite) also seem to use a multiple-location detection to identify fraudulent logons. But the additional log information does give me the means to take further actions of my own, if need be.
The greater problems, though, are the effects of the "those sites are a scam" messages, and the appearance of my photos on other people's sites or the newsgroups. The first of these problems clearly frightens away some potential members. The second problem can give an impression that my photos are not unique to my sites, if people see the ripped-off version first.
I think we can survive this, though, especially with your kind support.
