That reminds me of the following old Jewish joke that my grandmother frequently told me (God bless her):
A guy goes to see his doctor with an anxious look on his face, and say "doctor, you must help me! I haven't been able to pee for five whole days!"
"My god," exclaims the doctor. "You must be in agony! And I can see that you are very swollen. Five days, you say... and you haven't been able to go, at all?"
"Not once," says the man, with the pain contorting his face.
The doctor goes away, and returns a minute later with a bucket. He places the bucket in front of the patient. "Ok," he says, "as an experiment, just try to urinate, and while you make your attempt I shall examine you to determine where the blockage might be."
The man unzips, and - immediately - lets loose a torrent of pee into the bucket. The doctor watches in amazement as the bucket quickly fills and then overflows.
As the guy finally stops pissing, the doctor shakes his head. "I can't understand this - you told me you've been completely unable to urinate for five whole days, and yet without any trouble you fill the bucket to overflowing!"
"Ah," says the guy, "but when given the chance..."
