The funeral procession was taking the coffin from
the church, but as they were going down the
steps one pallbearer tripped, and the thing
shot down the steps and slid into the street.
Whereupon it sped down the hill, bounced off
of a phone pole, turned right at the light and
careened into the local shopping center - smack
into the local drugstore. It barrelled its
way down the aisle to the back of the store
and smacked into the pharmacist's counter there.
The lid flew open, the corpse sat bolt upright,
and cried out:
"Doc, can ya give me something to stop this
coffin??"
To all those who sat thru this one too, I
offer my humble apologies.
