But why would China be interested in taking on the USA anyway? They have enough problems trying to suppress their own dissidents. Better for them to follow the Japanese scheme of taking over the world markets and buying up the American companies that the Germans haven't taken.
And why do the Japanese & Germans do so well? Minimal defence spending! Look at all the 3rd world countries who squander their wealth buying arms when their people are starving, and there are people starving on the streets of Western countries too.
The wars against Iraq & Yugoslavia haven't exactly weakened the position of Saddam & Milosevic within those countries. Those guys have got a job for life despite the hardships imposed on their people.
