Michael Landon was a bedwetter till well into his teens, according to several articles that I read years ago, before his death. He talked about the experience, he said to help other bedwetters to not be ashamed of the situation. He wanted to reassure people that, in time, the bedwetting would eventually stop.
He, of course, was not addressing those people out in TV land who did not wish to stop.
