I usually have to pee sometime between midnight and 4 AM. I take care of that within a few minutes of the urge waking me. Sometimes I can put off my morning waking pee for 30 to 40 min. But even if peeing on waking, I need to pee within an hour of finishing breakfast (even without coffee). So on every 2 to 4 hours during the day. When home alone or alone in woods, I often purposefelly wait until I leak (1 to 2 hours after first urge--but occasionally less than ten min in my beer-drinking days). If I have a strong urge in public places with no place to take care of it (such as city buses), I usually worry about making it.
