I've hung around this and other bulletin boards for some time, and I agree that there are many men posing as women. But not all of the "female" posters are imposters. Read some of their past messages, and exchange e-mails with them. If they're fakes, sooner or later they'll slip up.
I'm too simple-minded to maintain a false identity. Everyone here knows that I'm a closeted gay male, even though I sometimes tell folks that I'm a retired nun. (With today's scandals, that's almost believeable!)
Don't despair. You'll eventually correspond with someone who is entirely female and shares your interests. They do exist.
