Well, I most definately have got the incident on tape. But there's more. Out here we've got a program called 'Man bijt hond'. It's a kinda humoristic take on things recently in the news. By chance, I caught a glimpse of an item concerning the Marx incident. And again, I managed to catch the replays on tape.
You're gonna love this one. They do an interview with a well known urology professor out here and he draws a picture, explaining why these things can happen and states it probably happens in other professions as well. Then they go and interview two women working at a construction site, and they both confirm these things can happen while lifting heavy loads.
Back to the professor, who says other female athletes may also lose control temporarily, not by stress or pressure, but by exhaustion, like for instance in marathons. Again, they show footage (but it's rather dark and presumably quite old) of a female athlete who's totally exhausted, dropping down on the ground, getting half back up, dropping down again, before shakily resuming her run. You can quite clearly see she has at least shit herself.
To top it off, the prof says he saw the incident and was surprised by the amount of pee released by Marx. Not by the actual release itself, because he was sure most female weightlifters lost a few drops when lifting, but by the amount of pee she lost. The item ends with him pondering on the question why she didn't go and pee before lifting. (Everything's in dutch off course)
You gotta admit, it seems like a once in a lifetime occasion here, and I've got both on tape.
Now for the difficult bit. I haven't got a clue of how to MPEG/AVI/whatever the stuff to send it to you. Believe me, if I could, I would certainly do it. But I guess special hardware would be needed, or wouldn't it. What would I actually need to get these wonderful scenes out there?
