Below are some snippets of an email from an email list I'm on. She had to go for an ultrasound, and you know how much water they make you drink! I thought some of you would be interested in the acccount of desperation.

I was in *pain* by the time I got to the clinic, my bladder was that
full. I squirmed around reception and eventually the nurse said that I
could go to the toilet as long as I promised to wee for only 6
seconds. I promised! Relief!
It was still pretty uncomfortable when the examination started.
The technician was really nice. "My,
your bladder is *full*" - tell me about it!
when it was all over I
had the best and longest wee that I'd had in ages. The relief of
emptying my bladder was almost orgasmic! Aah! Bliss!
