I have never made any real attempt at meeting women through the net.. at least not in regards to watersports. However, in my early days when I was posting a few things at Monty's and later, here, I would put my hotmail address along with the story on the off-chance that someone might contact me. It's not as if I write really nasty porn with lines like "he shoved his throbbing love-rod deep into her glistening honey-pot." LOL. I did recieve a little feedback from time to time but it was mostly just males expressing their appreciation for a story - which was certainly welcome as well because I like feedback. In 3 years of including my email address, I recieved exactly 2 contacts from "women" which were blatant ads for porno sites, heh heh!
I guess the bottom line is that more men than women hang out on porn boards and even less women would be so bold as to actually meet someone they don't know from online. It does happen, but a hell of a lot less often than it happens at a singles bar or club.
What can I say but echo my fellow Oldtimer? Get out! Get out there and meet women! Sure, you may not like the bars and clubs, but give it a shot once in a while. Or take out an ad in a mainstream newspaper and don't mention ws. Just meet as many women as you can and, if ws comes your way it comes your way.
Remember though, it's more important to find someone you love than someone who will drop a 3 gallon bladder into a tight pair of jeans! heh heh.. well, only a little more important! :-P
