Like you, I also pray I never wind up in a kill or be killed situation. If it came to it, self-preservation would kick in to deal with the situation at hand, but then, afterwards, I would have a trmendous emotional and spiritual burden to deal with, which only the grace and forgiveness of God could help me to bear.
Wow, we've gotten into some deep waters in this thread. Definitely some thought-stirring stuff.
Also, my hat's off to your dad. I'll bet he's experienced some life-changing events.
