I agree, the first ever watersports site I came to was Patches, back in 1995, and I was gobsmacked at the amazing footage. Since starting my own site in 1998 I know what a pain it can be, if the site isn't updated in 2 weeks I start to get emails asking when it is going to be, and it is hard to get new footage all the time, I praise all the contributors who have helped me and without them my site would be a lot more bare.
I have recently had to pay what is quite a lot of money (considering my site is free) for unlimited webspace. If I wasn't selling a few videos here and there then I could never manage it, and so I know why Patches does so too. Also as Frodo says what starts off a pleasure to update becomes a chore, I do still enjoy updating my site but at times I don't have the time more and more people become frustrated and start to down you. Also I have to purchase the mainstream movies for the clips and take lots of time uploading files and editing them. Don't get me wrong though, I have had loads of people appreciating my site too.
I think we should look on the fact that Pacthes is free and if it wasn't there then it would be alot worse then if it was but was slowly updated.
I am waiting with eager breath for the pee movie update page to be done as I have spoken to Wet Wayne and I know there are new movies, but I don't know which ones (so I can put new clips on my site). So although that is frustrating I do understand the reasons why it hasn't been updated, as I think all updates are done by Patches so finding time for that is difficult.
So thanks Patches and co you are doing a great job !
Oh and I also give props to Thomas and his site, he has offered a free service since back in the day and what a excellent job it is (same goes to Ger and everyone else).
As I mentioned above I now have UNLIMITED webspace and I also have the Olympic pee video coming to me real soon (thanks goes to Desp_99 for that). So expect good things from Dice World in the festive period.
