There have been several Israeli/Arab wars in the past in much more critical situations (cold war between West and East) - never did they spread out, so why should they now, as there is a much better understanding between USA/EU and Russia/Eastern Europe. No Sir, the point is: Each of them would lose for sure so much more if they would engage as they might perhaps lose if they wouldn't and stand aside.
