I've been to a friend's place for the weekend, as I often do, cycling to a train station, then training it to the station near them (about an hour trip) and drinking water all the way so that I'm usually needing to pee by the time I get to the other end, and I usually do so on the bike. I wear tight cycling knicks, the professional bib-and-brace kind that are all one piece with a singlet structure over the shoulders and a cycling jersey (yellow and black right now) over the top. So it's impossible to pull down your cycling knicks to pee unless you completely undress - another reason stories of serious cyclists taking pee breaks is unlikely. They just do it on the bike like me. :)
But when I get home from my weekend, I usually have to pee quite badly, and not wishing to miss the opportunity, I stowed my road bike and went and got my mountain bike (great for bike tracks) refilled my water bottles, and started out for an hours' wet fun. I cycled for about an hour, had numerous stops on the way, just to top up on the water, release the worst of the bladder press
