You may be right. The skit was about a guy who's trying to get this woman into bed. She tells him about all her weird obnoxious habits, and he keeps telling her she's beautiful. Then she announces that she just peed in her pants, and he still tells her she's beautiful. So her remark was in the spirit of the skit, and you are also right in saying that there was NEVER any cut to a commercial -- as I have seen several times on SNL re-runs.
Still, her remark was more like a screech, and seemed addressed to the audience rather than the actor. Also, the look on her face when she bolts up out of her chair is priceless. The actor pauses for quite a while before replying, as if he were trying to think of a line to get things back on track. So maybe, just MAYBE!
Wishful thinking? Sure. A beautiful woman wets her pants on TV, announces it to the world, then goes on as if nothing happened. If it didn't really happen that way, it sure should have!
