Yes, the magazine article I have did mention that some female tennis players use bathroom breaks to break up the momentum of a match when they are losing. The article suggested that this was the reason Anna was refused permission. But I keep thinking, "What if she REALLY had to go"! The television commentators on the Hingis match I saw also speculated that Martina was using her break to get her opponent off her rhythm...the thing is if a gal really has to go, game officials may think they are bluffing, with real desperation resulting-something I fantasize about all the time. Favorite fantasy: Gabriella Sabatini! Too bad she's retired now!
