I don't fault the players for being talented.
They still have to play well for the team to win.
I don't discredit the Yanks for building a good team.
But my point is, any team that had 1121 million dollars could put together the kind of teams the Yankees have the past few years.
Heck, if the Mariners had a payroll of 112 million, rather than 65 million, they would go sign Jasen Kendall, Manny Ramirez, John Wetteland, Ichiro Suzuki, Jeff Nelson, Mike Mussina...and suddenly...HEY...they'd be REALLY GOOD!
