...Don't read further if all you ever think I do is whine about school; you won't be able to see through your judgements...

I am finishing up a 4 day weekend, and it felt really good. Since crossing mid-semester, I am greatful for the break. On most weekends, the only thing I am able to enjoy is Saturday morning cartoons - although they haven't been all that great. They don't show the animated ones as much ... there are more "critter" shows and real life stuff on. Most of the time I am not able to relax because of homework or an upcoming exam. It is like not having a weekend at all. To those of you who have to work 2 jobs and have something going on 7 days a week, I send my sympathy. I don't know what keeps that kind of motivation going. I guess some people know how to love others more then I do.

This time has given me the ability to relax. I don't have homework due right away, and most of my exams were taken care of last week; this lifted the pressure off and I made great use of the opportunity to be happy and PLAY. I let out my inner little one full force. While I did have a bit of a mess to clean up afterward, I did have a lot of fun.

Friday afternoon till Saturday evening were spent in my footed sleeper and Abena x plus diapers playing with toys, coloring pictures - of course posting them on the fridge door - listening to music while dancing around shaking my diapered boo-tay:) I also got out my big brown roll of paper and did a artistic mural of finger painting. I taped a huge sheet to the wall and went to town. I got a bit crazy and will have to do some touch-up painting to the walls next weekend:) There was plenty of milk and Nes Quick ((and Benefiber)), jars of stage 3 baby food, apple cookies, and cereal ((Frosted Mini Wheats if you were wondering)) ti last the whole 4 days ... I was so happy by Saturday evening I decided that Monday I would work on some things around the house.

The Sears guy came Monday to fix my washer; cleaning up was pretty nessassary before he got there from my little play time:) YAY it's fixed. I did some laundry just to make sure it worked properly. It did:) I also did some wood stove shopping and will be purchasing one within the next few days; gas powered seems to be the way to go. Most of my adult work seemed to be in order, so by Monday evening I was back to playing ... mostly in the 5-7 age range, butt still diapered though.

Ahhh, today I was satisfied. I did a little homework that isn't due till later, and read a chapter in biology. Prolly will read more later. Right now I think I'm ready fora nap:) I supose if you have missed my point in posting this weekend account ... it was simply a little proof that you don't need someone else justifying your baby play to get something out of it. If you truely love being a little kid for a time, then go ahead and allow yourself some private play. Don't let the opinions of others prevent you from grabbing the joy you feel. It is harder for many to have the time or the privacy ... I'm not talking to them. It is the ones who live alone, and the ones always seeking out other people -mommies or daddies- to validate wearing diaers and playing like a baby. They are not needed ... they are desired of course; even in my fantasies I am never alone in my play. But in reality, if having others around who are accepting is not an option, don't let that stop you from at least having your own fun.

Later Days...
