Yeah, I hate the messy gel inside the diapers and I didn't want to slit them. (Right now I'm using a pull-up inside a diaper.)
So I used a safety pin to make dozens of little holes. I figure a bunch of little holes are the same as one big one and the gel doesn't pour out.
