At age 5 or 6, I was usually locked in the bedroom at night, as it and the bathroom were at the top of a long flight of stairs.
I'd scream and pound on the door until I lost control and peed myself, then jump into bed and go to sleep.
I guess my parents and siblings figured wet pants and bed were better than a broken neck. :)
