First, your attitude (it's my problem, not his) isn't going to help your son. You need to talk to him honestly about the bedwetting -- take the approach that you don't like all that washing. Beyond that, diapers can help, assuming he is willing. Shame and embarassment are part of the problem, not the solution. You can buy them for him if he's embarrassed, or get them in plain brown boxes off many net sites (magicmedical.com comes to mind).

At a guess, he is depressed, and the problem won't go away until the depression does. Psychological counseling and meds can help, but so can eating a better diet with more vegetables (consider supplementing flax seed oil, a multivitamin, and calcium. I personally add soymilk and a bananna every day; it helps my state of mind), getting out of the house and doing something (school, a job, or even a club) is really important, as is exercise. I once had a doc tell me I needed to walk a mile every day, and I now do so.
