My earliest and fondest memories are of a pure rubber sheet. Like my rubber pants at the time – it was thin, stretchy, and fragrant – likely Playtex. At some point mom replaced the stretchy sheet with a larger, cloth backed rubber sheet. After the change I searched the house for my beloved rubber sheet, it was no where to be found, expect she threw it out.
Been years, but I believe cloth backed rubber sheets are still available. Looks like this place handles them -
