Daddy Tim is right, pushing her won't help. But you can make sure you're introducing her properly. The first is some research, find out about her childhood. Did she enjoy it? Which portion did she most feel enjoyed and loved, and what were her favorite toys and books. Buy her one as a gift, watch her revert immediately and smile, then you hug her like a daddy and kiss her forehead.
You can't convince her logically, you need to convince her emotionally. Now, it may be she has really bad feelings linked to diapers for example - and those would be very hard to break. Say she was shamed for wearing them. It's all a discovery process, spend the time and enjoy it. You can unlock a little girl in almost any girl. Because daddy's may not want to admit it, but we're all little boys on some level too. :)
