Man that is rough! Sorry that happened to you, man.
These girls tend to be fairly fragile, as Bethan has pointed out. Not to say that they are weak, just have to deal with trying to find a balance. Like you said, she cracked under pressure because right now she can't handle being an adult and a Little Girl.
Realistically it is hard to go from being a fully independent adult to allowing yourself to be cared for like a child. She wants to escape work and/or school, but she can't really because she has obligations.
To answer your question; About three or four months ago I started chatting with a woman who was new to AB/DL/LG. We chatted for hours the first few days, and it seemed very promising. She lived not too far away, she already wore diapers for her weak bladder and enjoyed it. All that was left was to get to actually know her (as in normal stuff).
Suddenly she stopped coming online at all, or even responding to messages I sent her through Yahoo IM. I had given her my number, but she never called me or anything.
I know it isn't exactly like meeting in person, but it hurts all the same each time something like this happens. It is so hard to find a woman into this, and every chat is a glimmer of hope. For it so halt suddenly messes with your head.
