I don't actually like the whole coercion paradigm either. When L.E. started his latest series, I actually stopped reading once the premise had been established. There was a lot of positive feedback for his stories so I skipped ahead to part 3 and enjoyed it. Anyway, perhaps because of bias, I didn't even hesitate to read Harry the Hypnotist. I really like the way mudman's mind works, and, perhaps paradoxically, I didn't get the feeling that the female characters had been violated. Anyway, enough of that half baked line of thought. On to a couple more:
Perhaps because I've spent almost all of my life on the other side of the planet, I wasn't aware that there was such 'Chicana bitch' archetype. In fact, I don't know much about Latin American culture at all, but based on what I've seen on tv, it's obvious that your women are beautiful. Perhaps, dare I say, it's because of the Spanish blood. When I let my mind relax and dream about the type of girl I'd love to meet and fall in love with, vague and illusive images of dark olive skinned Spanish girl (with pearly white teeth :) always floats to the top. Might be something oedipal, but I won't go into too many specifics about that here.
Finally, I agree with Narada - smart chicks are way hotter.
