I like to wear plastic pants bareback too.In earlier years that was all I wore under my jeans.I had a pac of BVD underwear that stayed in the package for years unused.There was no internet at that time so I made my own plastic pants.Unfortunately the largest size Gerber baby plastic pants were too small for me.
As you mentioned,plastic pants are invaluable if you have an accident in public.Personally I wouldn't go to a loo to clean up but prefer to keep wearing them as they are till I get home.I sometimes carry an extra plastic pant with me and put that over my first pair.That helps keep things contained.
Now I wear diapers every day and most nights but I always wear plastic pants with them.Sometimes I still wear plastic pants by themselves,usually after taking off a wet diaper I keep my pants on for a while before re diapering myself.I never leave my house anymore unless I'm wearing a diaper and plastic pants or plastic pants alone.
