That's sort of where I was going as far as being public. The girls would consider it not at all embarrassing to go in front of the whole class. Then they'd simply announce to their date they were dirty, and a naughty girl giggle would rise...
But yes, the cross-wearing is a nice touch.
Also, I love the scenes where a girl is completely shocked by the idea but just wants to be part of the group so she has the "Might as well just do it" moment...
