...do it by yourself at least once before doing it in front of him,so you'll know the sensation and not risk backing out when you've let him expect it,or discovering only in front of him that you really don't like doing it.
Make the most of the experience,don't clean up immediately.
Once you do let him know you can share it,you may wind up doing it together...or you may find out he only wants it as something by himself.(But that shouldn't make you feel you can't do it by yourself if you find you like doing it).
