You don't know much about computers do you? all those pop-ups don't harm to computer in any way, the worst they can do is crash the computer and a reboot of the system can fix that. This happenings ecasue too many pop-ups causes the system resources to deplete, but again as I've said, rebooting would fix all that. However press the power switch al lthe time is not good for the hard drive which could casue lost of information, but all that stuff can easily be fixed with backup of your system and a bit of technical knowledge.
Remember this, if you had a baby you would learn how to care for it properly, it the same for computers, learing to use them can greatly save you headaches and money.
