thanks a lot, its great to see some omorashi i havent seen before, your effort in transferring these videos from vhs is much appreciated! i knew that getting a rapidshare premium account would pay off!
and for the people running windows having problems, try the quicktime alternative, which means you can open .mov files in other programs, great for those who have problems with quicktime, or people who just dislike using it;

once that is installed, use the media player classic you get with it to play the quicktime movies, and it should work no probs.
