If you cannot play the video (Windows or Mac), you need to make sure you're using the most recent version of QuickTime. It's free from Apple at http://www.apple.com/quicktime.

I use QuickTime instead of Real or Windows Media because:

a) Real is obnoxious. It invades your computer and annoys you constantly with advertising. Their player for Mac is also buggy and crashes a lot.

b) Windows Media is an inferior format to QuickTime. Apple's H.264 codec is the state of the art in video compression and lets you create great quality files at small sizes. And as I've said before, Window Media doesn't play back well. A straight run from the top is okay, but if you pause it, or try to jump forwards or backwards all hell breaks loose (won't play, audio and video not synched, etc.). QuickTime is simply better. Period. And it's free. So why all the moaning everybody?
