I have actually dreamed about a time when all this was acceptable, although very aromatic, to poop and pee in whatever clothes we happen to be wearing, and leave it there for as long as we wish. Public bathrooms, per se, would disappear, saving all kinds of water and supplies. It would be condoned at the very least, accepted by most, and perhaps, to aid those that are constipated, even encouraged. I expect that some guys would not change clothes for days.
But I do think you are absolutely right. Once society has accepted the concept, then the sexual desires associated with it would actually reduce (never totally go away for some, I am sure), because it will become an everyday, even every minute thing. Everyone you pass, everyone you meet, would have poop in their pants and panties, and it would become a 'no-big-deal' concept - except perhaps for the mixture of odors. But (because of the adaptability of the odor/taste sensors) that too would pass.
After that, those of us that would continue doing it would do so acceptably, and without embarassment, and because we like to do it and feel our poop in our panties. I expect that most would actually lose the desire, because the cleanup would return to being the most overwhelming part of it, and people would just lose interest.
