No, Terrier. I've said it before on this forum, and I'll say it again. Participation (even lurking on this board) only gives the ILLUSION that we have become large in numbers or have gone mainstream. (I have always loved that word "mainstream" when talking about streams.) Bear in mind that those who DON'T get off on our enjoyable little pasttime don't "feed" off of these forums and don't put any more "acceptability" (let alone, "respectability") into them than they ever did. Don't be lulled into thinking that, somehow, our particular enjoyable fetish is any more mainstream or acceptable than it was before your affiliation with WetSet or other such forums -- especially when the only thing that has changed has been your affiliation with such forums. We are still a very, very miniscule part of the population and, I fear, destined to be so.
That's not to say any of us should be ashamed or embarrassed. It's just the way it is.
