It's obvious why Wetset removed the string and I applaud them for it. Conform to their standards and I'm sure they'll have no problem with you or their posts. Instead of bitching about not being able to post "childhood reminiscences," start your own board, make up your own rules, and face the consequences yourself. Or -- better yet -- why don't you tailor your childhood reminiscences so that they DO conform to Wetset's rules. I don't think anyone would mind a little fudging here and there.
Oh, and by the way: If someone breaks the rules (thereby threatening the very existence of this board -- the best of its kind on the web) then I will cry foul, and cry it loudly; and anyone who attacks me for it, be warned: Boss Pee is one tenacious sumbitch.
That said, here's my olive branch: I hereby dedicate my next public accident to you, Flo. I will think of you and let if "flo" in your honor, so that we may be friends instead of antagonists. A symbolic gesture, to be sure, but a gesture nonetheless.
