Frodo,

Taking the 33.8 oz. printed on a 1-liter bottle & inverting. . . that's 0.0296 L/fl oz. Now multiplying by 1000ml/1L I get 29.6 ml/oz. Now multiplying by. . . Did you say 18 fl oz? Ummm... carry the. . . 530 ml.

Older home health books used 16 fl oz. minimum for adults, both male & female. That's. . . ummm. . . multiply. . . adding columns. . . carry. . . 475 ml. Authors used that as a can't-stand-any-more rather than a wetting number. 1st urge was supposed to be 8 fl oz = 235 ml for most folks. That number hits square for me.
