Probably the same.
In private, I like a thick bulky nappy like the abena x-plus, tena slip maxi, or contifit maxi. As long as they swell up nicely when wet, and feel noticeable between the legs...
If I do go out in a nappy though, mostly local shop trips, then yes, a thinner nappy or wearing a longish coat is usually my preference! I'm a DL, not AB though, so the thicker ones are not really to make me waddle / crawl.
