I'd imagine if they run across a site like wetset they just see it as weird. Some people can even get into it. Though I think SB is right that most people are annoyed that we want to engage in something that in general they wish they could be rid of,
Though I think a big problem might be on incontinence message boards, I think we've a got a fairly deserved reputation as unwanted party crashers. They want to have a message board about incontinence support and it gets flooded with ABs and DLs many of whom can be rude flooding the board with posts about looking for people to change them. Some boards though have managed to have ABs and DLs without it turning into a singles bar at last call.
In general though, I think it's best to keep the door open for them to come here, but stay off their boards(at least in terms of posting) unless of course you're actualy incontinent. We're a fringe group and can understandably seem weird to others, a lot of whom would rather not be associated with us. I agree it's their loss, but it should be their choice to make. It's a little like a bunch of people who get of on religeous mythology posting on a catholic message board, which is certainly funny to watch, but moraly probably not so solid. Ah well, I'm getting dizzey from standing on this soapbox,
