Agirl, you have touched something we all have met, and deal with.
You are not unclean just because you smell your poop on your hand. I have often had the same problem, but find that having a way to detect the odor well after the cleanup is sometimes actually desirable. Makes for a pleasant memory.
I do not believe anyone else will detect the odor, so I would not worry too much about it.
