Good question Matrix. One could say that applying pressure does nothing, and if the bladder can't hold any more... it's gonna let loose when it's regardless. All I know is... that when I feel like I'm going to lose it, the hand goes down there, and for the moment anyway.. it seems to work. As I get more desperate, I apply more pressure with my fingers. Eventually there are leaks or spurts, but the pressure along with the 'dance' does the trick... until, of course, nothing works and the damn opens. Sometimes these methods seem to work for excruciatingly long periods of time, especially if encouraged.. so there's clearly a little stamina and will power involved.
