I once found a medical book from 1920 or something which stated that bladder sizes vary from 500 - 1000 ml and that female bladders are larger than male, as *there is more room to expand*! It was an old, antique book, but I never found similar stats in new ones. What happened?
Did med. science turn to find out something new, or was that changed by the will of any obscure lobby (just think of the spanish inquisition). Hope that no scientists lost their heads for writing the truth ;-)))
