I've been 24/7 for 3 years... it costs me more than $100 a month to do, but I can handle that.
When using thick ones like X-Plus I average 3 a day... how much fluid are you drinking to need 4 or 5?
In my experiences the cheaper diapers just need to be changed more often, even when stuffed. You spend less actually buying the nice diapers.
